While kayaking to Sawyer Lake we spotted this Black Bear over 50 feet high in the tree that is along the waters edge. Once the Bear knew we saw him, he very quickly slid down the back side of the tree and disappeared into the thick undergrowth in Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge in Eastern North Carolina July 14th 2012
